The core probables of 33 girls will begin preparations for the Women’s Junior Asia Cup, scheduled next month, in the Capital from Saturday. The girls are on a high after finishing third in the Volvo Invitational U-21 (Women) Tournament and will be looking to carry the momentum forward.The girls will undergo training under coach NS Saini and focus on sharpening their penalty corner skills, besides working on other aspects of their game. This camp will enable them to work on their weak areas and further build on their strengths. We will look at our key problems in converting penalty corners and make sure we stress on rectifying those areas to give tough competition to the opponents,” said Saini.The camp will be held at the Dhyan Chand National Stadium from August 8-31. The 7th Women’s Junior Asia Cup will be held in Changzhou, China from September 5-13.
