With kickoff less than two hours away, ESPN has released its final prediction.Alabama defeated Oklahoma in its semifinal matchup, as Tua Tagovailoa outperformed Kyler Murray in a thrilling shootout.Clemson was dominant against Notre Dame and showed its depth along the defensive line, surrendering just three points with Dexter Lawrence out of action. However, the real story for the Tigers was the progression of Trevor Lawrence. The young gunslinger threw for 327 yards and threw touchdowns in the Cotton Bowl.If Dabo Swinney is going to lead his squad to a victory over the Crimson Tide, then Lawrence will have to continue making excellent throws down the field. It’ll be a really tough challenge for the freshman phenom, but he’s already shown he’s more than capable of playing well in huge moments.Nonetheless, ESPN’s matchup predictor is rolling with Alabama in the fourth installment of these prestigious programs.According to the FPI, the Crimson Tide have a 51.4 percent chance of winning the title. Clemson and Alabama are set to kick off at 8 p.m. ET from Levi’s Stadium. The game will be broadcast on ESPN.Who do you think will win the national championship?
