Patancheru: Local MLA Mahipal Reddy on Thursday advised officials and political leaders to work in coordination and with unity for making the Haritha Harama programme a grand success.Speaking at an awareness programme at Patancheru MPP office, he stressed the need for involving everyone in tree plantation drive to be taken up as part of Haritha Haram and not for namesake. He said steps should be launched to ensure that the planted saplings survive and last for a long time. He pointed out that pollution in the constituency was high in view of the location of many industries. Hence, there was a need for planting more trees. Among those present were MPP Sushmasri, vice-president Swapna and Anant Reddy.
