Cooch Behar: Chief Minister Mamata Banerjee will set out for North Bengal tour on Monday.The Chief Minister is scheduled to visit Cooch Behar where she will inaugurate Utsav Auditorium on Monday. She will be holding administrative review meeting in the same auditorium on Monday itself. She will be taking a stock of the present situation of the ongoing projects during the administrative review meeting. The Chief Minister will be discussing various development-related issues of the district. Banerjee will also be inaugurating some projects and also lay foundation stones of many more projects to ensure further development of the district. The benefits distribution programme has been organised at Rashmela Ground in Cooch Behar. After her programme in Cooch Behar, she is scheduled to visit Siliguri where she will be holding a meeting at Uttar Kanya. The meeting at Uttar Kanya, the administrative headquarters of North Bengal, will be held on Thursday. Sources said before visiting Uttar Kanya in Siliguri, the Chief Minister would once go to Gorumara in Jalpaiguri on Wednesday. The district administration and the police are leaving to stone unturned to ensure that no untoward incident takes place during the Chief Minister’s visit. The police’s dog and bomb squads have initiated the frisking operations and security has been tightened in the district. There was a trial run of helicopter operations in the area amidst tight security.
