For those that are travelling on Saturday but still want to vote

first_imgThe Electoral Commission is advising that on Saturday it will allow voters that will be travelling abroad to skip polling station queues. In a press release, the Electoral Commission communicated that people that are travelling on Saturday and still wish to vote are to take proof of travel arrangements with them to the polling station assigned to them, as they would need to show it to the Police official in charge. The Electoral Commission is also reminding the public that use of mobile phones, cameras and other photographic apparel is prohibited at the polling stations. The Commission is also advising that those caught breaching the ban will have their devices confiscated and will be prosecutable by law. <a href=’” alt=”last_img” />
