Take Entrance 8 off of University Boulevard and bear rightaround curve and continue straight through the first stop sign. The library islocated in the center of campus on the Academic Quad and west of Lovett Hall.Park directly on the street along the inner loop road near thelibrary.The all-important patent process just got a little easier forinventors and their attorneys in the Houston area, who can now use thefacilities of SCIPPR to meet via a video conference with a patent and trademarkexaminer in Washington D.C. In the past, meetings with examiners were onlyavailable in the capitol, but now SCIPPR offers secure transmissions and videolinks from Houston to Washington D.C. In addition, researchers using SCIPPRterminals have access to the same database as the examiners in the Patent andTrademark Office.
